Hi all bro & sis, really need advice here. Is the resale value of the car higher if i buy 2009 model & register in Jan 2010? Or the resale value is the same if i but now 2009?
 Huh

BTW, got this deal for 1.8E
1) No Bodykit - Discount RM2800 + RM500(service) = RM3300
2) with Bodykit - Discount RM1250 + RM500(service) = RM1750

2nd) will the offer be better on December 2009 cos normally UMW want to clear their stock. Is it ture?

Please kindly give your advice. Thanks.

Based on the stats as at Sept09, UMW Toyota is clearly in the lead with more than 40% overall market share but if comparing in C segment between Honda Civic, i would guess they'll be offering better discounts or package to bump up the sales since Honda is leading & Sylphy is trailing behind for with good package The Impul at no add on cost.

Hi chrustheseed,

You'll like it when you drive it! Just like how I'm enjoying it... it's like my second home. Not because I'm spending alot of time with it, it's because I feel comfortable and awesome driving it!

Hi bro, from my experience
Normally,3 scenario get discount

1. Year end. Normally will get RM2000 to 5000 discount from UMW or
lower interest rate
2. Purchase pre-facelifted version. RM2000 to RM5000 + free gift or voucher.
3. Change model.  while changing model. best saving. discount RM2000-5000
lower interest rate, extra free accesories such body kits, tint, etc.

which 1 you choose?

Christheseed: What deal u got? I just placed my booking this week for the G, getting the car Dec, or sooner, if only the sa able to grab a car for me. I was sitting on the fence cos of the trade in value too. In the end, I don't bother, I knew once my adrenalin to have a car dropped, I will wait for another year to have the rush again.  Grin
