Main TT – 23:00 hours, Friday 7th September 2007
It was a wet late evening. For some, they were better off staying in bed cuddling tightly to the thick comforter (not writing about you mlthum

). Though, the following 14 passionate Altisans refused to give in to the temptation offered by Mother Nature, and joyfully cruised through the light shower to meet up in Cheras for one of the shortest main TT ever. Short it was but definitely a sweet and memorable one

2nd Half – 01:00 hours, Saturday 8th September 2007
where the fun begins…
LiteSpeed, satriasti, t2ribena and wokan were all waiting patiently at the Jalan Kuching Esso/Mobil gas station. They were waiting for a comrade that has sailed off the intended bearing, and fortunately, with the help of human GPS

, they managed to regroup. So, there were we, 5 Altises on our way to Gohtong Jaya via the Ulu Yam twisties.
Now, the drive was so relaxing in the first 10 kilometers or so before it turned really, really, really wild and frenzy. All (except me

) were blasting away, at least 160 on the short and narrow straights that are so scarce in Ulu Yam, and a heart-stopping 80 at spine-snapping turns.
The cars were going through so much stress; especially the unsprung mechanisms and I heard the chassis creaks at every calculated turn of the steering. We were forced to stop a few times for the burning rotors to disperse heat as brake fade was evident. And, it was a time for us to check the tires too… just in case.
Everything passes so shadowy, and before we knew it, we were already at Gohtong Jaya devouring some warm and tasty prawn mee in the wee hours of the morning. When the 5-ish dew began to rest on our very limited fabric, we felt the chill, and so decided to go downhill. As usual, they were nowhere to be seen (even an aggressive Waja gave way

).
